Multi-User

anyLogistix Professional Server is a multi-user product (as compared to the anyLogistix Professional) where multiple users of your team can be using the project. The data on all the available users is stored within the anyLogistix database.

Once a user enters a project, the project becomes occupied, so there can only be one user in a project.

The main user types are Administrator and User.

How it works

Having purchased the product you acquire the installation instructions for the Team License Server and the anyLogistix Professional Server.

Administrator sets up, installs the application and Team License Server, provides access to the application, and manages users ( creates user profiles, assigns licenses).

  • Administrator does not require a license.
  • Users may register on their own on the Login page and lease a license from the Team License Server (that the administrator has previously set up).

The team users may now:

  • Log into their profiles — all anyLogistix settings are profile dependent. They do not affect other users.
  • Create projects — a user may create unlimited number of projects, share access to them if required. On creating a project a user becomes an owner of the project. Learn more about user types.
  • Create supply chain scenarios — any user can create and maintain a scenario in any project this user has access to. Note the restrictions of a guest user.

Team work and multi-user features.

By default all users are limited to developing supply chains within their profile workspace only, which may contain unlimited number of projects and unlimited number of scenarios in each project.

Any user may occupy any vacant project that has been shared with this user. It can be done while the project is not occupied by any other user. If it is, you may log out a user occupying the project. This can be done by the owner or administrator.
