This table is used within the Simulation-based experiments only.
A factory has production capacity that is represented by default by one virtual production line that guarantees production process. This table defines actual production lines in the required quantity with possibility of changing the type of product a factory produces on a specific line.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
|
Name |
Specify the name of the production line(s). It must be a meaningful name since you will refer to it in other anyLogistix tables. |
|
Factory |
Defines the factory that the production line (or set of lines) belongs to. |
|
Quantity |
Defines the number of production lines (of this type) the factory has. |
|
Changeovers |
A changeover (if selected) allows a production line to switch from one product type to another. One product line can have as many changeovers, as required. If no changeover is selected, the production line can produce one product type only. Make sure that the selected changeovers do not contain the same product in the Current Product / New Product columns. |
|
Inclusion Type |
Defines the status of the given production line.
